What do our Preschool and Parent's Day out programs offer?
Our programs offer an exceptional, God-centered, educational learning experience for children 18 months to 5 years old. Our program provides our preschool and pre-kindergarten students with the foundational skills they need to succeed in today’s classrooms. Because our curriculum is aligned with local elementary schools and state standards, we have created a smooth transition for our students to cross from preschool to kindergarten . Our well-rounded educational preschool program promotes your child’s emotional and intellectual growth along with kindergarten readiness.

These classes are a great introduction to a school environment. This program helps the child to develop social relationships in a large group scenario as well as working on fine motor skills, sequencing and comprehension skills, color and shape recognition. The 3-year-old program begins to work with the child in a more structured, classroom environment and sets the foundation for a smooth transition into our Pre-k 4 class.

Our curriculum and activities are in line with Indiana state standards but does not duplicate the kindergarten curriculum. Children completing this class will attend kindergarten the following school year.

Cost: $90 a month
Hamilton Hills Parents Day Out starts to build this foundation in our Parents Day Out 1 class for children 18 months to 27 months. Our loving teachers help your child ease their separation anxiety and start to work on their social skills through age-appropriate lessons including our Zoo-phonics sign language program, interactive games, Bible stories and crafts with plenty of time for free-play.
PRE-K 4’s PROGRAM:
For: Children 4 years old by August 1, 2019
When: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9:15 am-1:15 pm
Cost: $235 a month
In these classes, we will be working on developing fine motor skills for proper pencil grip and good scissor skills. A solid phonetical approach to the alphabet as well as reading readiness preparation is taught using our Zoo-phonics curriculum. Appropriate social skills are taught and practiced in both large and small group settings. We work with the children on self-control as well as listening skills so that they are ready to receive and act on the instructions and information received from their teacher. In working with the Hamilton Southeastern school district, our pre-k classes prepare the students for a solid and successful kindergarten experience through an excellent academic and social curriculum.
PARENTS DAY OUT 2:
For: Children who are 28-36 months by August 1, 2019
When: PDO2 meets on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday from 9:15 AM to 1:15 PM.
Cost: $170 a month
We also offer Parents Day Out 2 for children 28 months to 36 months. Parents Day Out 2 continues to help ease separation anxiety for the student by providing a secure, fun and engaging learning environment. In addition to focusing on social skills through group activities and games, PDO2 begins to lay the foundation for a formal learning experience. We do this by introducing the children to group instruction as well as working independently on listening skills, obedience and following a simple direction. PDO2 will also continue our Zoo-phonics sign language program throughout the school year. PDO2 will still offer plenty of free-play to the children because some of the greatest learning takes place through play!
