Music is just one way to participate in worship but it is a very important one. At Hamilton Hills we utilize a variety of music styles to complement our services. The single, unifying requirement is that it focuses our hearts on God and what He has accomplished for us and on our behalf.
There are many opportunities to serve through music. We have an adult choir which presents special concerts during the years as well as singing periodically on Sunday mornings. There are opportunities for solo work and ensembles, both vocally and instrumentally. The handbell choir's ministry is also very important. Please see Jim Wolfe or Greg Bray for more information. Even if singing "up front" is not for you, we invite you to actively participate by singing in our corporate worship time. It is a wonderful way to bless the heart of God and to be obedient. "I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise will continually be in my mouth..." |
