Viewing at 10:00 a.m. Funeral is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. There will be a dinner for the family after the funeral at 3:00 p.m. here at HHBC. Anyone interested in helping with the meal please contact Joy Beghtel at home 598-9168 or cell 748-6155. The funeral home will be receiving memorial contributions for Darren's sons, Evan and Adam. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church for this purpose. Praise the Lord for providing for their needs. SPECIAL SUNDAY SCHOOL HOUR FOR JANUARY 4 For Adults, Chi Alpha and JOLT: Please join us for a special time during our Sunday School hour. We will be hearing testimonies from our church members that went to Ecuador in December. They will be sharing their personal experiences they had during their Missions trip. YOU'RE INVITED TO A SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE, JANUARY 4 Mark your calendar for January 4 at 6:00 p.m. We are going to have a baptism, a congregational business meeting and communion. Childcare will be provided for children birth to age 3. CROWN FINANCIAL BIBLE STUDY - STARTS SUNDAY, JANUARY 11 We are offering a 10 week Bible study that covers topics such as spending, debt, giving, investing and more. It starts on Sunday, January 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Childcare will be provided. The cost of the materials is $45 for singles and $55 for couples. (Today is the last day to sign up) NEW LADIES BIBLE STUDIES STARTING ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 13 We have three different bible studies starting up in January, Tuesday mornings from 9:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. First: Shepherding A Child's Heart. Facilitated by Dale Gilmore Book $12.00 Second: What happens when women say yes to God? Facilitated by Angela Hatcher Book $8.00 Third: A precept study of Daniel, Part 1. Ideal for those who thirst for the wordbut have less time. Facilitated by Debbie Bray. FAITH EVANGELISM & MINISTRY TRAINING - STARTS JANUARY 18 Learn how to share Christ with others and how to minister more effectively – Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. for 10 weeks starting January 18. There are sign up sheets available on the table in the foyer. If you are interested please fill out the form and place it in the offering plate or you can give it directly to Pastor Randy or Pastor Doug. NEW MEN'S MINISTRY OFFERED Do you like 1960 era Muscle cars? Have you ever wanted to see the inside of a World Champion Top Fuel Race Shop? If you answered YES to either of these questions, then we have great news for you. On January 31, 2009 we have arranged to see Bruce Litton's Top Fuel Race Shop and Museum in Brownsburg. Bruce will talk with us about what it is like to be a racing world champion and a brother in Christ. There is a picture day scheduled for January 25 following Sunday morning service. If you haven't had a chance to get your family pictures taken yet, this is your opportunity. This is for our church directory that will be coming out soon. It is open to members, regular attenders and anyone that is new to our church family. A NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL HAS STARTED This new Sunday School class is designated for young married adults with no children. Sam Froese is the teacher of this class. It is located in the west wing hallway. CHRISTMAS CARD EXCHANGE BOXES We still have quite a few Christmas cards left in our Christmas card exchange boxes. Please look and see if you have any cards for your family to take home. ARE YOU MISSING ANY DISHES? If so, please check out the table in the foyer next to the coffee bar.
