FAM | Family Advocates Ministry

The Family Advocates Ministry is a team or servants showing the tangible love of Jesus to vulnerable children and families in our community. Through our partnership with Hands of Hope, we meet needs of at-risk children in order to preserve foster, kinship, and biological families.

By joining this team you will have the opportunity to be on mission through the generosity of your time and resources, so that children and families can discover the love of Jesus and experience renewal!

Ways to get involved

Connection Team

Be the hands and feet of Jesus by connecting with families that are in need of care. This team offers care by supporting, encouraging, and connecting with those in need to show Christ’s love in action.

Transportation Team

Deliver hope by assisting with larger needs! Volunteers on this team help transport and assemble items such as furniture, ensuring families receive what they need to thrive. A truck and the ability to lift heavier items are required.

Encouragement Team

Spread kindness by creating gift baskets and writing heartfelt notes to families and child welfare workers. This team uplifts and inspires those in challenging circumstances.

Inventory Team

Help organize donations and prepare them for delivery. Volunteers on this team sort, inventory, and ensure items are ready to meet the needs of children and families.

We accept the following items in new or gently used, good condition.

Items should be clean & without holes, rips, stains, broken zippers, or pet hair.

• Children/Teen Clothing & Shoes (newborn – 17 years)

• Children/Teen Coats, Winter Hats & Gloves

• Diapers & Pull-ups (all sizes, new only)

• Wipes (new)

• High Chairs & Booster Seats

• Strollers

• Car Seats (new only)

• Twin, Full, or Crib Bedding and Pillows

• Twin, Full or Crib Beds & Mattresses

• Dressers
