Connection Groups
We Were Made for Community
That’s why Connection Groups are central to who we are—they’re not just about community; they’re about family. Together, we pray, dive into God’s Word, and support one another through every season of life. In doing so, we grow stronger and make a lasting impact for Jesus.
No matter where you are in life or on your faith journey, we have a group just for you.
Groups meet weekly in homes, restaurants, Hamilton Hills, parks, and coffee shops just to name a few environments. Connection Groups are encouraged to stay under 12 adults in size and also expected to produce other groups. Connection Groups are where we grow with others in our faith walk and also where we see Jesus work the most.
We’d love to have you join us!

Common Questions About Connection Groups
What is a small group (Connection Group)?
A small group, or Connection Group, is a gathering of 8-15 people who meet regularly to grow in their faith, build relationships, and support one another through prayer, Bible study, and life’s challenges. These groups create a sense of community and family, helping us strengthen our walk with Christ together.
What happens in a small group?
Each small group is unique, but typically, you’ll spend time praying together, and discussing the Bible or a specific study. Some groups may also participate in service projects or social activities. It’s a space for you to ask questions, share experiences, and deepen your connection with others and with God.
Can I bring my kids?
Some groups may offer childcare and there are others that do not require childcare. Check with your group leader or the church to see what options are available, and we’ll help you find a group that fits your family’s needs.
What if I join a group and it isn't a good fit?
That’s completely okay! You’re free to try another group until you find the one that feels right for you. We want you to feel comfortable and connected, so don’t hesitate to explore different groups.
What if I’m uncomfortable sharing out loud?
That’s okay! We understand that some people may feel nervous at first. Small groups are designed to be a safe, welcoming space where you can engage at your own pace. You’ll never be forced to share or pray aloud—just being part of the community is what matters.
What if I don't know much about the Bible?
Small groups are for everyone, no matter where you are on your faith journey. Whether you’ve been studying the Bible for years or you’re just starting out, you’ll find a group that’s right for you.
The goal is to grow together and support one another, so all levels of understanding are welcome.
